Jars for Jeremiah! Christmas Shopping...LOOK!

HI all,
Well we have been blessed to get a spot in a local Sale Show at our local Convention Center in December. This sale is the Saturday and Sunday before Christmas and tons of people attend it! We will be selling Jar Gifts at the sale along with baked goods and Christmas Goodies and Sonic Discount Cards. Anyway, We thought we would try selling the Jar Gifts on the blog as well. Alot of folks are shopping for Christmas right now and so you can get gifts and help Jeremiah at the same time. We also thought by offering the Jar Gifts on the blog we could see what is more popular of some of the MANY choices we have come up with and that way if someone orders one then we will make a batch of that kind to sell at the show! A friend just suggested that for online orders I offer to put the mixes in decorated bags and boxes to make shipping more economical, so that is another option if you are interested!

First of all THANK YOU to Amanda for donating the camcorder and running the fundraiser! It is so amazing to have someone come alongside and help you fundraise! I am blessed to have Amanda and a couple other friends who have sold things on ebay or had garage sale for us and sent direct donations to the agency! God is amazing and so are His people! Thank you to All who donated towards the Camcorder online and offline and are so wonderrful in helping bring Jeremiah home! This fundraiser raised $390!!!! God is amazing!

Adoption update

I wanted to share where we are with Jeremiah's Adoption. FUNDRAISING as always is the majore word of our life. We are in crunch time at this point. We have been at this 6 months and we have to move quicker. Our paperwork is all being authenticated and all that and we have about 3 weeks to raise $3000 agency payment and $1030 to send in our USCIS and fingerprints. Having 4 Adults in the house is really making that fee HIGH! Anyway, PLEASE be in PRAYER for this as we do all we can and PRAY PRAY for God to show off in a big way! We did meet with the principal of a small private school yesterday about doing a Jeans for Jeremiah day where the kids pay $1 to wear jeans instead of their uniform. She has to take it before the board so it may or may not work, BUT it just so happens that the principal is herself an adoptive mother and very good friends with another adoptive mother! God was SOOOO in all this! Well, she calls this other lady at the school into the office because she herself is good at raising money. They are talking about ways to help us. They want to know total how much more we need and so we are like with travel and all bare minimum about $14,000. They are like, to you that is a big number, but its really not! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! To me it might as well be a Million! Anyway, they are tossing ideas left and right, asking if they can share with other people. I told them they could brodcast on the news if they wanted. We NEED HELP! Anyway, prayerfully their "contacts" will be able to help like they think they can and we may have some good fundraisers coming with some folks who are willing to walk alongside and help us! I also got good news that a dear friend is selling some items on Ebay for us! What a blessing! It so blesses my heart that she is wanting to help :) I know that God is going to use this journey to touch so many lives, and I believe that Jeremiah will touch hearts and lives! What testimony it will be when he is home! God bridged the ocean to bring Noah home and we KNOW without GOD it would not have happend. I can hold onto that as we journey to Jeremiah! :) Please keep our fundraisers that are going in prayer. The camcorder fundraiser lasts till the 3rd I believe. Contact Amanda about that one :) We also have our Puzzle Fundraiser going which has not done well at all. That makes me sad because I really was looking forward to having the puzzle up in Jeremiah's room with people's names on the back :) Its only $2 per puzzle peice so I had really hoped it would do well. Everybody may not agree with my fundraising to bring home Jeremiah, but I would move heaven and earth, STOMP on my pride, and do just about anything it took to help that baby boy come home to a family! Saturday we literally had someone who had money in hand to buy, ask what it was for, take a look at Jeremiah and WALK OFF. He may have cerebral palsy but that angel deserves a family to love him and a chance to have the best life he can! I feel sorry for anyone who can't understand that.

Bobby and Milie selling! LOOK AT THE JUG! WHAT A DAY! Y'all this is our FIFTH Candy Sale in front of Sam's. The most before was 2 hundred something, this time we raised $520!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a sale the saturday before Thanksgiving and the tuesday before! PRAYING those are at LEAST as good. We might can get some dates before but they won't be a saturday.

We have not gotten new update pics on Jeremiah in a while but the new program director sent me some older pics she had and some of them I HAD NEVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE PRAY

Hi all,

I wanted to come to y'all today and ask you to PLEASE pray for our newest fundraising venture. One of Noah's Therepist came up with an idea to try and get schools to hold Jeans Days. I thought OH we can call it JEANS FOR JEREMIAH! I LOVE IT! So we set off calling schools. Well, what sounds like a great idea to us not so much to others at least so far on the public school front, BUT I have a friend whose son attends a private school not far from here so we called them. Well, God was definitly in on that decision because the Principal is an adoptive mama herself! We have an appointment Tuesday morning to meet with her all about POSSIBLY doint a Jeans for Jeremiah Day! We meet with her and she goes to the school board and they have to agree to it. PLEASE keep in prayer this meeting and approval. I feel like if we can get this school on board it will help to get others! :) Then we could call and say such and such academy is helping us out with a Jeans for Jeremiah and we were hoping yall might like to help too or something like that! :) Here is the LOGO thingy I made , what do you think???



Please keep little Jeremiah in your prayers. I feel so bad that he sits in Taiwan waiting for us to get our acts together and come get him. We have to have about $3000 in about 3 or 4 weeks so that our case can go to court. PLEASE pray for favor and that we can raise the money quickly. We have a candy sale this saturday at Sam's Club. Please pray it will do above and beyond what we have ever done. Also we are going to talk to walmart about letting us have a day there. PRAYING they will. When we did a day there with our Church kids we raised over $1000 in one day! That was a few years ago before the economy was so bad and folks seemd to buy much more! Also please keep the Camcorder for Jeremiah fundraiser my friend Amanada is running for Jeremiah! And we are still running our $50 Target Gift Card Giveawy till Thanksgiving! That would sure be fun for someone as a Christmas gift!

Please continue as always to pray for Jeremiah and against seizures and that he will receive the BEST medical care possible while he waits. Please keep St. Lucy Center in your prayers as well. I know the Typhoon affected them in some ways and they have so many little ones, so many cases to be working on while lovin these angels till they come home! :) Taiwan as a whole I am sure could use prayer as well! Praying against anymore typhoons. Think they have had enough!

I have been sick, and on top of that have been kinda down because of Money for the adoption of Jeremiah and TRYING not to worry how we are gonna raise all we need and quicker cuz he is waiting and waiting. He is 17 months old now! I can't believe it has been 5 months since I first laid eyes on his face! Today I got on because I knew we should be getting pictures SOON and I wanted to just check IN CASE! Well, sure enough I got the golden email! :) pics and an update :) WOOHOOO :) I am one blessed mama! PLEASE keep Jeremiah, the adoption, FUNDS, and everything to do with it in your prayers!

AUGUST UPDATE PICS!

PLEASE keep Jeremiah in your prayers for his health and all. Every time I see him I want to get him home quicker and quicker! The doctors and therapist here are anxious too. I have it all lined up and when they see his pics and video's they can't wait to get their hands on him and work with him and such! :) PLEASE be in prayer for our fundraisers! We have a Bake Sale coming up here locally on August 29th! PRAYING it does really well! F.R.O.G Puzzle Fundraiser

We heard about a fun kind of fundraiser called a Puzzle Fundraiser :) It sounds neat to us so we are going to give it a try :)  We have bought a puzzle that represents Jeremiah and our Journey to him in Taiwan in some way! It has 550 pieces. For every $2 donated to the Puzzle Fundraiser we will put 1 piece in the puzzle! We will be posting pictures of the progress every so often. When we have enough donations to finish the puzzle we will have raised $1100 towards Jeremiahs Adoption fees and we will have the finished puzzle picture posted on the blog. Every $2 donation for a puzzle piece will have a name of the person donating put on the back of the puzzle piece. We will keep the puzzle and put it up in Jeremiah's Room :) He will be able to grow up and see all the names of people who donated to put that puzzle up for him :) Anyone who wants to donate towards our puzzle fundraiser can donate by the chip-in button or email Tamijoysisemore@aol.com. Prayer & Fasting Day for Jeremiah



Bobby and Tami-Joy Sisemore of Haughton, LA adopted Noah from Taiwan almost a year ago. The Lord has brought Jeremiah into their hearts in the same way, and they are doing all they can to raise the funds to bring him to his forever home! Jeremiah was born with severe cerebral palsy, and they lack the necessary medical facilities to give him what he needs in Taiwan. Bobby and Tami are holding several fundraisers to try to raise the needed funds and give little Jeremiah the love he deserves. Would you help?

Oh, Lord God, we thank You and praise You for loving each of us so very much and offering us each Your saving grace and mercy. Thank You for putting sweet Jeremiah on the hearts of Bobby and Tami. Thank You for giving them the special heart for Noah, Jeremiah, and other children who have challenges in their lives.

Lord, we boldly come before Your throne today petitioning for provision exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ask or think for this adoption. With our natural eyes, we see that the economy is challenging and struggles abound. In the spirit we see that You are bigger than that, and You are well able to provide for this little boy and his forever family!

Father God, we praise You, we worship You, we stand in awe of Your ability and the magnitude of Your promise to care for those who are without parents. Thank You for giving back to Jeremiah the years that the locusts have eaten from him, and bringing him into knowledge of You and Your love.

Move upon hearts to help with this as You would have each person, family, or congregation do. Give clear direction, and bring not only abundant blessing upon those who give time, money, and talent, but give them an incredible excitement and expectation as they watch all that You do for this special family.

In faith, asking without doubting, knowing that You will answer, we thank You and praise You for all these things.

Jumpin for Jeremiah Fundraiser!

June 19th, 2009 we had our Jumpin for Jeremiah Fundraiser! We were so excited for this and had such high hopes for it but it was a very small turn out, BUT It was a blast of a night for those of us there! :) Jumping Jupiter was amazing and donated EVERY Penny they took in that night! So we raised a total of $140 towards Jeremiah's adoption :) Isn't God great! :) WOOHOO :) Here are some pics for yall to see about the night :)
