Welcome to Jeremiah's Adoption Shower Fundraiser Page :) It all started because a far away friend said to me that is I was physically pregnant then most likely someone would give me a baby shower and she would wish she could come but being so far away she would just send a gift! So we were thinking the biggest gift anyone can give Jeremiah is his family! Soo, the idea was born. Basically how this works is if you would accept the Baby Shower Invitation, then you get to enjoy shopping for Jeremiah, either at online shops, or in actual stores where you live and then take a picture of what you would buy for Jeremiah for the shower! Then you would email me the picture of the item and donate what you would have spent on the gift to the Chipin!

Hey everyone!!! Several have said they wanted to help bring Jeremiah home but did not have hundreds of dollars to donate. Of course we say PRAYER is the biggest help we need and Spreading the Word of course,but reality is we do NEED money! So we thought of an easy way for folks to help. We are looking for folks who will commit to save their change from NOW until March 29, 2010, Jeremiah's 2nd Birthday and then donate what is raised to HELP BRING JEREMIAH HOME?! All you do is get a Jar, Box, Baby Bottle, you name it and put it where everyone can see it. Encourage friends and family to join in filling your container!! We as a family are saving ALL our change, whenever we pay for anything we will pay with bills and all change that comes back will go in our Jar! Spring Cleaning is underway to see how much change I can find in and under furniture! LOL Please will you help us??? Your change won't make a HUGE difference in your day to day life, but it WILL to Jeremiah's! Who would have thought your small change could make such a BIG difference! And several have asked or commented they wished there was a way they could help somehow. We had an idea given to us and have not really gotten if off but I believe I am suppose to put it here for anyone that might want to try to do one where you live.

Jeans for Jeremiah! The idea is that if you work, and your office either wears uniforms or non casual attire to approach the boss about a Jeans for Jeremiah day. Employees would be allowed to wear Jeans for this one day for a fee and all the money raised would go to Jeremiah's adoption. If you would like to see if your job, or a child's school, or a medical office, hospital, whatever might like to get involved and do a Jeans for Jeremiah day please let me know :) You can use the logo above and even make a flyer with it and a Picture of Jeremiah. If you want to do something and need me to make a flyer for you to make copies off, let me know, or if you need more information about Jeremiah or our Journey to present to those who would make the decision to allow this. Even small offices can do it, nothing is too small to help. A friend wrote on her adoption blog that is 1000 people donated $10 each they would have what they needed. She was asked do you know 1000 people and she said NO BUT GOD DOES! I say that here, as well for us at this point if 1300 people donate $10 we will have all we need! I know I dont know 1300 people and you may not but if we all work together we can come up with enough folks! This is just an idea since several have said they wanted to find a way to help us raise money. I think Jeans for Jeremiah could be a good way possibly! :)

Please keep the auction, the puzzle fundraiser, the Jeans for Jeremiah all in prayer as well as the grant applications we are waiting on word about and the grant and loan applications we are currently working on. As always PLEASE keep Jeremiah in prayer! Pray against anymore rigideness in his little body, against seizures and for him to be safe and well. PLEASE pray the funds come quickly and that we can travel to get him SOON!

I wanted to share some blessings with yall! It has been a very neat few days. I have had some just wonderful support from dear friends by way of phone calls, posts, emails, etc at a time when I really was needing that and for that I am eternally thankful! :) In addition to that things have been kinda nutty, one thing will go wrong and then a blessing shows up :) I am so thankful for the blessings in my life :) One such thing is that I was contacted by a couple of dear sweet ladies who felt called to help with Jeremiah's Adoption but weren't really sure what they could do. So they prayed and put their heads together and decided that they could use their sewing talent to help Jeremiah. They designed a digitized embroidery set and are selling it on their website FOR JEREMIAH! They are giving 100 percent of the sales direct to our Adoption Fund! Is that not amazing. If you are anyone you know sews and might can use either this set or anything from their webstie PLEASE check them out and support them. Go to THE CHARMING STATION to see what they are selling for Jeremiah :) and from their you can explore their whole site :)

As if that was not enough, they also sell a thing called "monsters" on their website. Well for quality control purposes they make one of each pattern they sell, to make sure it works right I guess and to photograph for the website maybe. Anyway they have a bunch of these Monster Samples and they are mailing them to me to sell for Jeremiah!

They thought maybe we would have an opportunity for another craft show or something and can sell them there and I said, not sure about another show but go ahead and send them and we will sell them somewhere! :) So just a short time after I find out they are on the way I find out about a craft show coming up for a local Gym to fundraise. They are renting booth space to others to raise money for the gym. Anyway the booth and table rental is VERY reasonable and if we have these monsters, and our sonic cards

left over from last time, the things from the last sale that were not perishable and the Born in My Heart Adoption bracelets

we had donated we will have plenty to sell with no cost other than the space rental :) So I am actually excited!!! She said at the very least they were hoping to help us make back what we lost at that craft show that flopped. I am so incredibly blessed that they would do this for us :)

And in addition to the blessing of these ladies and their generosity, We have been blessed to have several folks donating items for us to hold an online auction on the fundraising blog. I am hoping to have it up by next week. I am waiting on some information and hoping to get some more donations before we start it. Basically folks can bid on what they would pay for it and at the end of the auction the highest bidder will win. Bidders will need to pay postage on the items. PRAY for us please to get some more donations and that folks will want to bid on the things we have. Also we will need help spreading the word and those who do will have entries put in our Spread the Word Giveaway that will be drawn right before we travel to Taiwan to get Jeremiah when that GLORIOUS time comes :)

We also have had a few more folks sign up to be involved in the benefit for Jeremiah that is this friday night! It is funny a few back out and a few more sign up. But I know it is going to be an amazing night of giving Praise the Lord for who HE is, who Jeremiah is, what God has done in Jeremiah's life and what He is going to do in all our lives! :)

I wanted to share about some things we are doing to raise funds for Jeremiah :) PLEASE keep them all in prayer and if you can possibly help that would be amazing, even if allyou can do is share with others and maybe they can help, and of course prayer is the biggest help. MONEY is all that separates us from Jeremiah and makes this journey so long for him. January 15th we will be having a "Get Your Praise On" Benefit for Jeremiah at our Church in Shreveport, LA. A love offering will be taken that night :) Check out the flyer I made! If you are local and are willin to share a flyer at Church or with folks please feel free to print this or let me know and I can send it to you in Word or I can get you one if needed. HI all,
Well we have been blessed to get a spot in a local Sale Show at our local Convention Center in December. This sale is the Saturday and Sunday before Christmas and tons of people attend it! We will be selling Jar Gifts at the sale along with baked goods and Christmas Goodies and Sonic Discount Cards. Anyway, We thought we would try selling the Jar Gifts on the blog as well. Alot of folks are shopping for Christmas right now and so you can get gifts and help Jeremiah at the same time. We also thought by offering the Jar Gifts on the blog we could see what is more popular of some of the MANY choices we have come up with and that way if someone orders one then we will make a batch of that kind to sell at the show! First of all THANK YOU to Amanda for donating the camcorder and running the fundraiser! It is so amazing to have someone come alongside and help you fundraise! I am blessed to have Amanda and a couple other friends who have sold things on ebay or had garage sale for us and sent direct donations to the agency! God is amazing and so are His people! Adoption update

I wanted to share where we are with Jeremiah's Adoption. FUNDRAISING as always is the majore word of our life. We are in crunch time at this point. We have been at this 6 months and we have to move quicker. Our paperwork is all being authenticated and all that and we have about 3 weeks to raise $3000 agency payment and $1030 to send in our USCIS and fingerprints. Having 4 Adults in the house is really making that fee HIGH! Anyway, PLEASE be in PRAYER for this as we do all we can and PRAY PRAY for God to show off in a big way! We did meet with the principal of a small private school yesterday about doing a Jeans for Jeremiah day where the kids pay $1 to wear jeans instead of their uniform. She has to take it before the board so it may or may not work, BUT it just so happens that the principal is herself an adoptive mother and very good friends with another adoptive mother! God was SOOOO in all this! Well, she calls this other lady at the school into the office because she herself is good at raising money. They are talking about ways to help us. They want to know total how much more we need and so we are like with travel and all bare minimum about $14,000. They are like, to you that is a big number, but its really not! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! To me it might as well be a Million! Anyway, they are tossing ideas left and right, asking if they can share with other people. I told them they could brodcast on the news if they wanted. We NEED HELP! Anyway, prayerfully their "contacts" will be able to help like they think they can and we may have some good fundraisers coming with some folks who are willing to walk alongside and help us! I also got good news that a dear friend is selling some items on Ebay for us! What a blessing! It so blesses my heart that she is wanting to help :) I know that God is going to use this journey to touch so many lives, and I believe that Jeremiah will touch hearts and lives! What testimony it will be when he is home! God bridged the ocean to bring Noah home and we KNOW without GOD it would not have happend. I can hold onto that as we journey to Jeremiah! :) Please keep our fundraisers that are going in prayer. The camcorder fundraiser lasts till the 3rd I believe. Contact Amanda about that one :) We also have our Puzzle Fundraiser going which has not done well at all. That makes me sad because I really was looking forward to having the puzzle up in Jeremiah's room with people's names on the back :) Its only $2 per puzzle peice so I had really hoped it would do well. Everybody may not agree with my fundraising to bring home Jeremiah, but I would move heaven and earth, STOMP on my pride, and do just about anything it took to help that baby boy come home to a family! Saturday we literally had someone who had money in hand to buy, ask what it was for, take a look at Jeremiah and WALK OFF. He may have cerebral palsy but that angel deserves a family to love him and a chance to have the best life he can! I feel sorry for anyone who can't understand that.

Bobby and Milie selling! LOOK AT THE JUG! WHAT A DAY! Y'all this is our FIFTH Candy Sale in front of Sam's. The most before was 2 hundred something, this time we raised $520!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a sale the saturday before Thanksgiving and the tuesday before! PRAYING those are at LEAST as good. We might can get some dates before but they won't be a saturday.

We have not gotten new update pics on Jeremiah in a while but the new program director sent me some older pics she had and some of them I HAD NEVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

I wanted to come to y'all today and ask you to PLEASE pray for our newest fundraising venture. One of Noah's Therepist came up with an idea to try and get schools to hold Jeans Days. I thought OH we can call it JEANS FOR JEREMIAH! I LOVE IT! So we set off calling schools. Well, what sounds like a great idea to us not so much to others at least so far on the public school front, BUT I have a friend whose son attends a private school not far from here so we called them. Well, God was definitly in on that decision because the Principal is an adoptive mama herself! We have an appointment Tuesday morning to meet with her all about POSSIBLY doint a Jeans for Jeremiah Day! We meet with her and she goes to the school board and they have to agree to it. PLEASE keep in prayer this meeting and approval. I feel like if we can get this school on board it will help to get others! :) Then we could call and say such and such academy is helping us out with a Jeans for Jeremiah and we were hoping yall might like to help too or something like that! :) Here is the LOGO thingy I made , what do you think???

Please keep little Jeremiah in your prayers. I feel so bad that he sits in Taiwan waiting for us to get our acts together and come get him. We have to have about $3000 in about 3 or 4 weeks so that our case can go to court. PLEASE pray for favor and that we can raise the money quickly. We have a candy sale this saturday at Sam's Club. Please pray it will do above and beyond what we have ever done. Also we are going to talk to walmart about letting us have a day there. PRAYING they will. When we did a day there with our Church kids we raised over $1000 in one day! That was a few years ago before the economy was so bad and folks seemd to buy much more! Also please keep the Camcorder for Jeremiah fundraiser my friend Amanada is running for Jeremiah! And we are still running our $50 Target Gift Card Giveawy till Thanksgiving! That would sure be fun for someone as a Christmas gift!

Please continue as always to pray for Jeremiah and against seizures and that he will receive the BEST medical care possible while he waits. Please keep St. Lucy Center in your prayers as well. I know the Typhoon affected them in some ways and they have so many little ones, so many cases to be working on while lovin these angels till they come home! :) Taiwan as a whole I am sure could use prayer as well! Praying against anymore typhoons. Think they have had enough!

I have been sick, and on top of that have been kinda down because of Money for the adoption of Jeremiah and TRYING not to worry how we are gonna raise all we need and quicker cuz he is waiting and waiting. He is 17 months old now! I can't believe it has been 5 months since I first laid eyes on his face! Today I got on because I knew we should be getting pictures SOON and I wanted to just check IN CASE! Well, sure enough I got the golden email! :) pics and an update :) WOOHOOO :) I am one blessed mama! PLEASE keep Jeremiah, the adoption, FUNDS, and everything to do with it in your prayers!

Don't you just LOVE that shot! :) He is so cute :) These were all taken Sept 9th! They said he smiles alot! I CAN"T wait to have one of those smiles directed at me :)

Another shot of my baby boy! Oh how I ache to reach through the screen and just pick him up! :)

I am a bit worried about the hands. They said in the update his hands and arms are rigid. I know we will be doing some exercising those hands I bet!

Isn't he beautiful?!! :) He has such an angelic face! I love this shot of him sleeping! This was taken August 14th and it says 3:30 pm. I am assuming that is Taiwan time!

This one was taken the same day at 10:28 am So I can now know that he takes a morning and an afternoon nap! :)

PLEASE keep Jeremiah in your prayers for his health and all. Every time I see him I want to get him home quicker and quicker! The doctors and therapist here are anxious too. I have it all lined up and when they see his pics and video's they can't wait to get their hands on him and work with him and such! :) PLEASE be in prayer for our fundraisers! We have a Bake Sale coming up here locally on August 29th! PRAYING it does really well! F.R.O.G Puzzle Fundraiser

We heard about a fun kind of fundraiser called a Puzzle Fundraiser :) It sounds neat to us so we are going to give it a try :) We have bought a puzzle that represents Jeremiah and our Journey to him in Taiwan in some way! It has 550 pieces. For every $2 donated to the Puzzle Fundraiser we will put 1 piece in the puzzle! We will be posting pictures of the progress every so often. When we have enough donations to finish the puzzle we will have raised $1100 towards Jeremiahs Adoption fees and we will have the finished puzzle picture posted on the blog. Every $2 donation for a puzzle piece will have a name of the person donating put on the back of the puzzle piece. We will keep the puzzle and put it up in Jeremiah's Room :) He will be able to grow up and see all the names of people who donated to put that puzzle up for him :) Anyone who wants to donate towards our puzzle fundraiser can donate by the chip-in button or email Tamijoysisemore@aol.com.
